I see the title as fulfilling an additional job of setting up the feeling and the texture of the book as being one of a spiritual self-reflection of sorts. It is the most personal body of work I’ve assembled with each spread playing a part in a greater stream of consciousness, and in keeping with the shooting process I employed, I sequenced them intuitively as well. While I don’t push much of a narrative in this work, I felt as though it was important for it to be presented as a book to draw out the connections from image to image. I believe that the binding of this book is the genuine nature I instilled in it, and I believe that feature is its most valuable quality beyond any theme or motif that may present itself.
